Founder of 30-year-old Italian dance company Compagnia Zappalà Danza, Roberto Zappalà was also responsible for the conception and restoration of Scenario Pubblico, a European choreographic centre launched in 2002. Besides establishing a unique movement language, MoDem, he has also worked with various musicals, operas and installations.
