“It’s nice for me to share this human condition that I think concerns everyone.”
- Isabella Giustina
“Each of us wants to appear stronger, brave and self-confident in front of people, but inside we have our fragilities. Behind the fragility, there is a big power,” explains Isabella Giustina, a choreographer from Florence, Italy.
Together with T.H.E Second Company, Giustina explores the relationship between force and fragility in Hanging in the Balance. She believes that this human condition is not only relatable to only her, but to all of us
Stay tuned for the second part of this documentary as Isabella dives deeper into her creative process and experience choreographing in Singapore.

My Centre by Isabella Giustina
This workshop focuses on the use of the body’s centre, a fundamental motor of a dancer’s movement.
After preparing the body, this workshop will begin on the floor, directing our focus to our centre. It will then progress to dynamic crossings and floorwork sequences, before continuing with exercises and short sequences in the upright position.
The workshop will end with a short choreography.
