Wei Wei is a graduate of the Chinese Guangdong Dance School and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore. She received the first prize in the Open Solo category at the CSTD Competition in 2009. Wei Wei was formerly a professional dancer with Arts Fission Company in Singapore and was involved in all the company’s productions since joining in 2010. In 2013 she took part on acclaimed European company Nederlands Dans Theatre’s summer intensive, and performed for NDT in Switch’14 as part of choreographer Wang Jiahui’s work. She also performed in M1 Open Stage for M1 CONTACT Contemporary Dance Festival 2014.
