Beg/Int. level technique classes are suitable for dancers with minimum 3 years of dance experience with basic exposure to contemporary dance.

Yong’s classes place emphasis on the body’s centre and core. With influences from the Graham technique, she develops the use of the core, treating it as a departure point to move the rest of the body parts, as well as the body in space. Other influences she draws from include Chinese dance and its use of the spine.
