This workshop will continue on with Ross’ current fascination surrounding indecision, a physical state in which he finds a tremendous amount of movement that informs his practice and the body of movement inside his works. He will also continue to search around the conflict/dynamic that exists between a body at odds with purpose and obsession with details. He aims to create structured improvisation that will enable discussions on extracting and settling material. His search is for the dancer on a boundary stuck between transitional points – the liminal dancer.
