In December 2015 Emma will complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), University of Melbourne, Australia. In conjunction with her studies, she was a member of Melbourne’s youth company Yellow Wheel, performing works by Jo Lloyd and Amber McCartney for the Melbourne Fringe Festival. Emma completed a Certificate IV in Performance at Ev and Bow in 2012 and was a member of the NSW State Dance Company from 2009-2011 through which she received the UWS Talent Development Scholarship. At the Victorian College of the Arts, Emma has worked with choreographers Phillip Adams, Helen Herbertson, Rebecca Hilton, Prue Lang, Lina Limosani and Rochelle Carmichael. Earlier this year she undertook a secondment with Lucy Guerin Inc and was selected to present her first choreographic work, Half Glass in the VCA’s dance ON season in June.
