Sarah Foster-Sproull

A distinguished graduate of The New Zealand School of Dance, Sarah has danced with Douglas Wright Dance Company, Michael Parmenter’s Commotion Company, Malia Johnston & Rifleman Productions, Raewyn Hill & Soapbox Productions, Footnote Dance Company, Mia Mason, Kristian Larsen, Guy Ryan, Sylvain Meret, Magpie Music Dance, Frauke Requardt, and The New Zealand Dance Company. Within her teaching practice, she has worked as a dance company tutor for Douglas Wright Dance, Atamira Dance Company, Footnote New Zealand Dance, The New Zealand Dance Company, and she also regularly teaches for Independance (Auckland), and has taken master classes/labs for Movement Art Practice (Christchurch & Auckland).  She is a Professional Teaching Fellow in The University of Auckland Dance Studies Programme and teaches contemporary technique at Unitec Performing and Screen Arts. Sarah is also a Guest Teacher at The New Zealand School of Dance. She will complete her Master’s in Dance Studies at The University of Auckland Dance Studies programme, with a focus on intellectual property and copyright within devised contemporary dance works.
