Candelaria was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she began her contemporary dance training at Oscar Araiz’s Arte XXI dance school. In 2004 she moved to the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds (U.K.), where she received a Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA) Honours Degree in Contemporary Dance. In 2007 she travelled to Spain, where she worked with the choreographer Jivko Jeliazkov from Derida Dance Company. In 2008 she joined the Dani Pannullo Dance Theater and in the following year she intagrated the choreographic line at the Conservatiorio Superior de Danza María de Ávila in Madrid, which she graduates in June 2013. Throughout those years she worked with several dance/theatre companies such as Laboratorio C, directed by Francisco Leiva, Mey-Ling Bisogno Dance Company, and participates in the last works of dancer and choreographer Lucio Baglivo (“No Land” in 2013 and “Solo Juntos” in 2015). In parallel to her activity as a dancer, she began collaborating with Arthur Bernard Bazin, creating Discordio in 2010, winner of the 1st price at the First Vallecas Chorographic Competition in Madrid. The following year they began to work on Te Odiero and they received several awards in Spain, Germany and France. In 2013 they built HURyCAN dance company and premiered a new work Je te haime, awarded at the 27th Feria Internacional de Huesca (Spain) as the best dance performance. They have been touring these two pieces in Europe, South America, Africa and Asia, and their most recent creation is Asuelto, in 2016.
